Description
元禄２（1689）年、香椎廟（香椎宮）の梵鐘として博多の鋳物師である磯野慶貞・慶永・正慶によって鋳造された。上部の龍頭を短頭とする模造朝鮮鐘である。明治元（1868）年の神仏分離令により、現在ほぼ散逸してしまった香椎宮の仏教遺品として非常に貴重な資料である。〔第37回新収蔵品展〕
