Description
博多祇園山笠復興記念の扇子。昭和20(1945)年6月19日の福岡大空襲で博多の3分の2が焼失し、山笠は中断を余儀なくされた。しかし、昭和23年に復活し、七流の舁き山が櫛田入りを果たした。この扇子はその際に、櫛田神社より復興記念としてつくられたものと考えられる。〔第37回新収蔵品展〕
