福岡藩の儒学者・亀井南冥の書。南冥は藩校・甘棠館の館長をつとめたが、同校廃校後、唐人町の屋敷に逼塞していた。その後屋敷の火災で、樋井川を挟んだ対岸の百道松原に引き移り、翌年新屋敷「百道林亭」に住んだ。この書でそこで隠棲生活を送ったことがわかる。〔第36回新収蔵品展〕
