明治時代に使われた建たて網。建網とは魚群の通り道に網を仕掛け、網に魚を導き入れてとらえる漁法。この網は柿渋で染めた木綿糸できている。漁では、この網を20 から30 枚程度つなげて使用した。海底の砂地に生息するカレイなどをとる際に用いられた。〔No.512 島とくらし―玄界島―〕
