Description
江戸時代に描かれた竹山図で、筑前国領内の竹量把握のために藩が作成したものとされている。島の南側から西側にかけて竹が確認される。竹は、生活のあらゆる道具の材として用いられた。また、藩にとっては建築資材や軍事資材にもなる重要な資源でもあった。〔No.512 島とくらし―玄界島―〕
