[Important Cultural Property] Tachi: Signed ‘Aritsuna’ ［重要文化財］太刀 銘 有綱［じゅうようぶんかざい］たち めい ありつな
Description
本作は、中鋒（ちゅうきっさき）がつまり、腰反（こしぞ）りがつく優雅な太刀姿で、鍛（きた）えは板目に杢目肌（もくめはだ）が交じり地沸（じにえ）つき地景（ちけい）がよく入る。刃文は小乱れに小互（こぐ）の目（め）風の刃が交じり足入（あしい）り、刃縁（はべり）には荒めの沸（にえ）、金筋（きんすじ）・沸筋（にえすじ）・砂流（すなが）し、処々二重刃風に湯走（ゆばし）りや飛焼（とびや）きを交えるなど変化に富む。茎（なかご）は生（う）ぶ在銘である。現存する有綱在銘の最上作の太刀として昭和28年（1953）、国の重要文化財に指定されている。

The Japanese Council of Art Museums
The Japanese Council of Art Museums (JCAM) supports the accomplishment of mission of art museums and seeks to assist art museums in fully basing their activities in a social context. The organization holds an annual meeting, memorial forums at annual meetings, lectures, Curatorial Study Meetings, and Study Group activities every year. The information and reports generated by these various activities are then expected to be shared with member museums, the greater art-related world and the general public. JCAM was founded in 1952 with the aim of providing a forum for art museums in Japan to think and act together. The organization was registered as a general incorporated association on April 1st, 2020 and includes over 450 members (full members, individual members and supporting members).
