Description
江戸時代から長野県下の城下町を中心に発達した手描友禅は、草や木の樹皮などから煮出した天然の染料を用いる全国でも稀な本県特有の草木染友禅を始め、ほとんどの工程が手作業で熟練度の高い技術を要する。「信州手描友禅」として昭和61年２月20日長野県伝統的工芸品に知事指定。
