Description
1952年、分教場だった茅葺きの建物を利用して「馬天文庫」が設立された。有志によるスクラップ集めなどによって資金を獲得し、数百冊の蔵書を有するまでになった。1953年には、那覇琉米文化会館より、優良図書館として表彰も受けた。写真奥にみえる茅葺の建物は区事務所。
