網漁や延縄漁などで使われる旗。網の場所が分かるよう目印として使う。竹棒がたつように、下部には石などの錘、さらに適当な長さのところに浮子が取り付けられている。上部には赤い布でつくられた旗があり、持ち主である船名が書かれている。〔No.512 島とくらし―玄界島―〕
