明治19 （1886） 年に発行された『修身教授掛図教授解』中の図に酷似しており、これらの資料は「修身教授掛図」を写したものの一部と考えられる。教授掛図は、明治時代以降、一斉授業の際の大型視覚教材として欧米から取り入れられた。〔第37回新収蔵品展〕
