Description
豊州炭鉱（田川郡川崎町）の経営者宅で、使用された客用の布団。朱の絹地に、鶴と竹梅、紫の絹地に鳳凰と菊・桐の吉祥柄があしらわれている。豊州炭鉱は明治23 (1890) 年頃に池尻炭鉱として始まり、昭和35 (1960) 年の閉山時は、上田尊之介氏の経営であった。〔第37回新収蔵品展〕
