Description
福岡県内で鍛刀された刀。日本刀の復興を目指して昭和10（1935）年6月に設立された大日本刀匠協会が主催した新作日本刀展覧会の入賞作品とみられ、第2次世界大戦中に日本刀の代用品として作成された昭和刀と一線を画する。板目肌の肌理が細かい本造りの日本刀である。〔第37回新収蔵品展〕
