Description
安陪(倍)頼任は、福岡藩3代藩主・黒田光之に仕えた安陪立剣道の創始者。剣術は人倫日用の道との考えから「剣道」を号する。「温應嚴察一」の5文字は、儒教の5つの徳目「仁義礼智信」に対応していて、安陪立剣道において重要な理念となる。掛軸は師である高橋から永井子琢士(小平)が授かる。〔第37回新収蔵品展〕
