寄贈者の母が、祖母から譲り受けた装身具。婚礼やそのほかの特別な日に身に着けたもの。簪には、2尾の鯛が腹あわせになった掛け鯛があしらわれており、めでたさや長寿などの意味が込められた縁起のよい意匠である。〔第37回新収蔵品展〕
