春吉国民学校（現 春吉小学校）の生徒が描いた絵。上部に食卓を囲み目をつぶる家族、家族に旭日旗をかかげて行進する兵士の姿を描く。直接戦闘に参加しない銃後の国民のあるべき姿として、日本本土にいても常に前線兵士への感謝の気持ちを持ち続ける様子を表している。〔第37回新収蔵品展〕
