Description
松竹梅や鶴亀が泥絵の具で描かれた御膳。博多では3歳になった子どもにポッポ膳を与え、「お膳座り（真菜の祝い）」という祝儀が催される。これは、それまで母親の膳から取り分けてもらっていた幼児が初めて一人前の食事を箸でとり始める通過儀礼の一種である。〔第37回新収蔵品展〕
