博多曲物の製作工程見本。本工程は、曲物に使う薄板を湯で煮て柔らかくし、巻木に巻きつけて板を曲げ（同店は昭和10（1935）年から曲げ付け機を使用）、板の端「マチ」同士を重ね合わせた後の工程で、木鋏ではさみ、留具で仮止めして形を整える状態を示している。〔第37回新収蔵品展〕
