神武天皇即位の年を元年とする皇紀の2600年（昭和15年・1940にあたる）記念事業として、福岡県神社協会は県内の神社誌の編さんに着手した。8月末までに調査記録の提出を求められている。完成した『福岡県神社誌』は、昭和19年1月に福岡県神社庁から発行された。〔第36回新収蔵品展〕
