Description
明治時代から昭和時代前期にかけて、福岡・上名島町（福岡市中央区）で硝子製造業を営んでいた小川家に伝来したガラス製の杯。小ぶりで瑠璃色の美しいこの杯は、型を用いて成形されており、非常に薄くて軽い。明治初年頃に硝子製造業を始めたとされる小川六三郎による製作と推測される。〔第36回新収蔵品展〕
