Description
福岡藩の書道方を勤め、独自の筆法を編み出した、二川相近の書を、板額にして飾ったもの。「福善」というおめでたい文字が彫られている。相近は自分の書を筑前周辺の御堂や神社に求めに応じて揮毫し、書は額にされて飾られた。本額は佐賀地方で発見されたもの。〔第36回新収蔵品展〕
