作者は江戸時代後期に活躍した女流文化人・亀井少琹（1798-1857）。福岡藩儒を務めた祖父・南冥と父・昭陽の薫陶を受け、家庭に入り主婦となった後も、漢詩や四君子（梅菊蘭竹）の絵をよくした。本資料の賛にも中国の漢詩文化をふまえた引用がみられ、教養の高さが窺われる。〔第36回新収蔵品展〕
