Description
『日本書紀』に記された野見宿禰と當麻蹴速が相撲をとった故事を題材に描いた板絵馬。裏面には昭和11年（1936）に行われた相撲の11月場所（九州場所）の番付表が記されており、開催を記念して制作されたものと思われる。寄贈者の曾祖母が収集し、南区寺塚の家で保管していた。〔第36回新収蔵品展〕
