愛宕神社（西区）の鳥居付近から南側を撮影した写真。福岡市西部の愛宕山頂に鎮座する神社で、境内から博多湾を一望することができる。この写真は山の入口付近で撮られたものであるが、前方に室見川と川に架かる鉄橋が確認できる。〔第36回新収蔵品展〕
