Description
明治20（1887）年、崇福寺（福岡市博多区）で行われた福岡博物展覧会に出品された大盃。収められた箱の蓋の裏書によれば、加藤清正の家臣・清法院が、加藤家を離れる際に清正から拝領したもので、筑前国に立ち寄った際、別れを惜しみ知人に贈ったものという。〔第36回新収蔵品展〕
