博多中島町( 博多区中州中島町) 出身の日本画家・祝部至善（1882-1974）が描いた博多明治風俗図の下絵。明治の博多の街路の日常を描いたもの。右は橋口町（中央区天神）の郵便局から姪浜（西区）へ小包を運ぶ職員、左は近隣の農家が博多へ肥料（糞尿）を引き取りにいく様子。〔第36回新収蔵品展〕
