四季の物や花鳥を題材にした和歌と、それに則した小さな絵が描かれる。幕末に活躍した福岡藩の御用絵師・尾形洞霄の作。右上の初日を歌う「如淵」は12代藩主黒田長知。また各和歌は、前後の和歌で触れている風物をテーマするなど、連歌にも似ている。〔第36回新収蔵品展〕
