社家町（博多区冷泉町）にあった櫛田裁縫専攻学校で小串シズノ氏が卒業制作のために作成したおきあげ。おきあげは、布や綿を使って立体的に盛り上げる押絵の一種。校長だった日本画家・祝部至善が描いたシズノ氏の似顔絵をもとにして製作された。〔第36回新収蔵品展〕
