大福帳とは商店で、商品の基本台帳で、商売の相手ごとに付箋（インデックス）を付けてまとめる。春日商店は明治20年代以降、西新や近くの千眼寺、さらには現在早良区周辺の農村一帯を中心に手広く商った。なお八百屋弥助を継いで春日熊次郎の代にかわった。〔第36回新収蔵品展〕
