Description
春日家は江戸時代から明治時代初めは、屋号を八百屋といい、野菜や乾物といった食品類、生活の雑貨などを商った。萬水帳でも、商売相手と代金（銭）、売った品物が順に記載される。なお江戸時代の八百屋弥助は、西新町で組頭などの町役人も務めている。〔第36回新収蔵品展〕
