Description
海に沈んでしまった網などを探す道具。これを海底に沈め、船で引いて捜索した。鉄棒の鉤に網が引っかかるようになっている。海中で鉤が下方を向くよう、錘となる石を下に、石より軽い木を上にして鉄棒を挟む工夫がみられる。かつては水難者の捜索にも使われたという。〔No.512 島とくらし―玄界島―〕
