Description
船鑑札は、役所や同業組合などが発行する、船の所有や漁業の権利などを許可、証明するもの。この木板は、怡土志摩早良ら郡役所が発行したカナギ網漁の許可証。発行された明治18 年は、玄界島において（網を染網から白網にかえたことで）カナギ網の漁獲量が急増し、操業船も増加するなどした年。〔No.512 島とくらし―玄界島―〕
