Description
寛永16（1639）年7月5日、江戸幕府が出したポルトガル船の日本来航禁止が記された高札。日本国はキリシタン信仰が禁止されているので、今後はポルトガル船来航を禁止し、再度来航したら船を破却する、などとしている。福岡藩も出兵した、島原の乱（1637～38年）の鎮圧の後、厳しい鎖国政策が出された。〔No.598 地図と絵で見る海と船の福岡藩展〕
