Description
Miyagawa Kōzan I (1842–1916) was renowned for his technical virtuosity and eccentric style. After studying Chinese ceramics, he shifted his focus to develop a new artistic direction. This work is representative of his later career. Its graceful relief of peonies and vines, along with the interlocking handle loops, demonstrates his masterful technique.
