Description
黙阿弥没後に長女の糸が父に対する追善・手向けとして、黙阿弥が亡くなった翌年の明治27年（1894）11月に建立した碑。場所は向島百花園内であり、黙阿弥が初代河竹新七の追善に、その作品である『隅田川続俤』の大切所作事にちなんで明治13年（1880）に「荵塚」を建てた場所に並べ、「きやうげん塚」と名づけられた。
