Description
隈：土蜘の隈。茶を基調に描く、妖怪変化を象徴する陰鬱な隈。役者：六代目尾上菊五郎。役名：新古演劇十種『土蜘』の後シテ、土蜘の精。『土蜘』は五代目菊五郎が明治14年（1881）6月、東京新富座で初演。河竹黙阿弥作。能『土蜘』を強く意識した作品。五代目菊五郎から六代目梅幸、六代目菊五郎へと伝承される。署名：「六代／菊五（朱印）弎朝」。讃：「さゝかにの／いとも／かたみや／秋の風 新古演劇十種の／土蜘蛛をこたひ六代目／演しけるに 六代目梅幸（朱印）扇舎」。
