Description
昭和18年（1943）4月末日の河竹繁俊筆の箱書によれば、「先代（四世）清元延寿太夫より黙阿弥に贈」られ、「大正の震災にも不思議にも焼失を免れ」た英国製の八角時計。黙阿弥は四代目延寿太夫との関わりから『黒手組曲輪達引』（安政5年（1858））の「忍岡恋曲者」、『小袖曽我薊色縫』（安政6年（1859））の「梅柳中宵月」など、多くの作品で劇中の曲（地）に清元を用いた。
