The Curator course at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology -Digital Web gallery in Japan Search -

In the curator course in Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, the university students in Museum Training class have undergone a comprehensive process involved in creating both physical and virtual museum galleries. This experience has provided the students with understanding the similarities and differences between these two type galleries and objects. Although the virtual objects offer the advantage of exhibiting them without the constrains of the physical space and materials and the borrowing efforts, they are confined to a small screen. Despite these limitations, the students challenged to create the fascinating galleries using only the images and texts with Gallery system of Japan Search. In last discussion, the students presented and enjoyed their own galleries communicating with teachers, experts and each other.
