Meiji University Museum
The Meiji University Museum has a history of more than 90 years and houses more than 450,000 items. It consists of three departments: criminal materials, archaeology, and commodity, and the criminal materials department houses legal history documents, early modern punishment-related materials, ancient documents, ancient maps, and painting materials from the Middle Ages to modern times. The Archaeology Department houses Archaeological materials from various regions of Japan excavated by Meiji University, and the Commodity Department was established as a specimen room by faculty members of the Faculty of Commerce, and currently collects traditional crafts.
