Kyushu University has been collecting books and materials for a long time since the establishment of Kyushu Imperial University in 1911. Kyushu University Library organizes and preserves such materials and provides them to users. The library also holds exhibitions of rare materials, and works to digitize materials to make the collected "knowledge" available to the public.
