Ibaraki University Library

The Ibaraki University Library was established in 1949 when the university was founded, and consists of three libraries: the Main Library on the Mito Campus, the Engineering Branch Library on the Hitachi Campus, and the Agriculture Branch Library on the Ami Campus. The library holds a large number of valuable ancient documents that remain in the area, including historical materials inherited from the old-education-system former Mito High School, the predecessor of the university.
