Fukui Museum of Education opened in April 2017 as a museum dedicated to education. It collects and preserves materials related to school education, and introduces its history, educators associated with Fukui, and the history of textbooks through materials from the end of the Edo period to the present day. In addition, it offers educational lectures, and has devices that allow visitors to search the history and school songs of all schools in Fukui Prefecture.
