Fukui Prefectural Ono High School

福井県大野市新庄10-28

Ono High School is a school with a long history and tradition that began as the "Meirinkan" of the Ono clan at the end of the Edo period and has produced more than 25,000 graduates to date. Aiming to be a school loved by the local community, the school engages in various activities in cooperation with local businesses and residents. Another of the school's major features is its library, which has inherited valuable materials (books formerly owned by the Ono clan and others), mainly books from the days when the school was a domain school (Japanese and Chinese books, Dutch books, and English books).
