Located on the second floor of Kanazu Honjin IKOSSA, a cultural complex, the museum showcases the history and culture of Awara City, Fukui Prefecture. In particular, the permanent exhibition features the Honjin decorations made during the Kanatsu Festival, the largest festival in the city. Others are responsible for cultural property administration throughout the city.
