Chigasaki City Library was opened on April 1, 1949, and currently has two buildings and 10 branch offices, including the main building, Kagawa branch, and community center library. It has a collection of approximately 500,000 books, including approximately 27,000 local materials, supporting the history and culture of the region. We aim to be a library that is familiar to all generations as a place for learning and interaction rooted in the local community.
