The Suginami City Central Library opened in October 1982 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the city's founding and reopened in September 2020 following extensive renovations. As the hub of Suginami’s library network, it maintains a vast collection of local historical and administrative materials. The facility features a café on the first floor and a Young Adult (YA) room for teenagers on the second floor. Visitors can also enjoy reading in the lush green surroundings of the adjacent park.
