Fukuzawa Memorial Center for Modern Japanese Studies, Keio University collects and preserves materials relating to Keio University, its founder Yukichi Fukuzawa and the alumni. By looking at the influence of Fukuzawa and Keio on Japan's modernisation through education and academia, while remaining independent from the private sector, we can look at Japan's modernisation from multiple perspectives and in three dimensions. In May 2021, we opened the Fukuzawa Yukichi Memorial Keio History Museum.
