The Hiroshima Municipal Archives is a facility that collects, preserves, and makes widely available to the public official documents, administrative publications, and pictures, which are valuable materials for understanding the history of Hiroshima City. It was established in April 1977. Currently, it holds approximately 260,000 items (as of the end of FY2024).
