Broadcast Programming Center of Japan

The Broadcast Programming Center of Japan (BPCJ) is a nonprofit organization established jointly by Japanese broadcasters in March 1968. Its purpose is to ensure the healthy development of the Japanese broadcasting industry. The BPCJ operates an archive facility "Broadcast Library" located in Yokohama, and specialized in broadcast programs in Japan under the Broadcasting Law. The Broadcast Library systematically preserves TV and radio programs and CMs broadcasted in Japan, and makes them available to the public for viewing at no cost.
