正月の松飾りに使われた注連縄を１月７日に持ち寄り、１．５メートルほどの文字碑の道祖神石碑を芯に、怪異な神面を飾りつけ、来年の１月７日までの１年間、悪霊や疫病より集落を守る守護神とする。外した神面と残った注連縄や正月飾りは、どんど焼きとして焼かれる。この道祖神は、１９９８年長野冬季オリンピックの開会式に登場した。開催日：１月７日開催場所：芦の尻集落
