Description
1920年代に大阪のアマチュア天文家が使用した、直径15cmの反射式天体望遠鏡です。主鏡は京都帝国大学花山天文台の中村要の制作です。当時は、日本のアマチュア天文学者の活動が活発になり始めた時期で、個人が使用した天体望遠鏡としては初期のものと言えます。大阪市立電気科学館は1937年の開館当時、アマチュア天文団体であった東亜天文学会とも密接な協力関係にあり、共催で天体観望会や展覧会が開催されました。
